MCDBA Exams

In the summer of 2003, Microsoft will introduce new exam question types and an updated version of the testlet exam format in some Microsoft Certified Professional exams. These question types present a more realistic visual representation of the tasks you might perform on the job.

The new, innovative question types and testlet exam format have undergone rigorous usability testing by certification customers and usability engineers. These new question types offer intuitive interfaces, user-friendly features, and improved navigation. Help is available at all times to provide information about how all question types work.

To become familiar with the new question types and testlet exam format, please read the Frequently Asked Questions, download the installation package, and use the demo program.

Candidates are expected to understand the exam content, regardless of how it is presented. Microsoft changes the exam format and questions from time to time. In addition, Microsoft does not identify the format of any given exam at the time of registration. Both practices help to protect exam security and the value of Microsoft certification. To prepare for an exam, candidates should read the "Skills Being Measured" section of the exam preparation guide.
